Smartframe™ is a robust 'live' topframe constructed from glass filled co-polymer and spring loaded to enhance and maintain pack tension over time or with transportation.
When applied to tall packs the Smartframe™ compensates for elastic properties of the vertical
strapping, resulting in less percentage loss of strap tension compared to the conventional wooden
and rigid plastic top-frames. Over time the Smartframe™ retains a better comparative pack tension.
Constructed from a two-part assembly that encases springs capable of providing 750kg of stored energy, the Smartframe™ is comparable in weight to conventional frames but is more hygienic. During transit the Smartframe™ is dynamic, acting as a spring damper. Whilst maintaining higher tensions within the pack, the dynamic nature of the frame again assists in the reduction of bottle scuffing.
The Smartstak™ system allows safe ten layer tall packs, with the potential to go even higher. The need for horizontal strapping and polythene shroud is eliminated.
